PL Training Weekend - 02-09-2008

Three Patrol Leaders from the Explorer Unit and one from the Scout Troop recently attended a training course at Glengoyne Lodge. The weekend aimed to help them to become better PLs and to improve their own Scouting skills.

The weekend included sessions on:

• What is leadership?
• How to be a good leader
• How to make your own map
• Firecraft
• Responsiblities of a Patrol Leader
• The Scout Laws
• Initiative Exercise
• How to teach other Scouts

Well done to Michael, Ben, Sean and Ryan for completing the course.
