Enterprise and adventure with the Entrepreneur Challenge
On Thursday, BBC Radio 2 Breakfast presenter, Chris Evans, was presented with the inaugural Scouting Entrepreneur Challenge. This celebrates the skills on show when Scouts demonstrate a mind for business.

2003 - Jamboree

In 2003 we sent a contingent of Scouts, Explorer Scouts and Network Scouts to the Auchengillan Jamboree - an international gathering of Scouts from across the world. There were Scouts represented from the United States, Sweden, Ireland, Swaziland, Wales, Germany, England, France, Canada and of course, Glasgow!

There were a total of 62 in camp comprising:

Boys from disabled Troops...............................28
Helpers..........................................................20
Scouters........................................................14

Over the course of the week, the Scouts took part in a whole range of activities with other Units such as sailing, canoeing, challenge day, visiting Stirling Castle, disco, radio station, geocaching, backwoods cooking, rafting and International Friendship Award.
