2005 - Auchengillan
We returned to Auchengillan in 2005 for our Summer Camp, attended by Scouts, Explorer Scouts and Network Scouts from 2nd July to 9th July.
74 attended the camp in total, which consisted of:

The theme for the camp was "Star Wars" owing to the recent release of the new film in the series. A summary of the activities each day:
Saturday: arrive in camp, rounders, treasure hunt, crazy sandwich making, campfire
Sunday: Scouts Own, Robert Burns Wide Game, Blind Date, Burns Supper
Monday: Activities on site, badgework bases, "Serie A" Football Competition
Tuesday: Swimming, visiting the Special Olympics at Kelvin Hall, Capture the flag
Wednesday: Star Wars theme day - battles and bullet dodging, party of celebration
Thursday: Mugdock Park, burgers and presentation of medals
Friday: Cowboys and Indians day - costumes, shooting practice, lassoing, carnival in evening
Saturday; Pack up camp, depart.
