On Thursday, BBC Radio 2 Breakfast presenter, Chris Evans, was presented with the inaugural Scouting Entrepreneur Challenge. This celebrates the skills on show when Scouts demonstrate a mind for business.

2006 - Auchengillan

We again returned to Auchengillan in 2006 for a joint Scout, Explorer Scout and Scout Network Camp. The theme this year was "Pirates".

The camp was attended by a total of 82, which combrised:-

Boys from 77th Troop and Corseford................34
Helpers.........................................................29
Scouters.......................................................19

A summary of the programme is thus;

Saturday - team building activities, Pandorras Box Wide Game, IPC Rugby, patrol sites

Sunday - Scouts Own, World Cup, Tuck Shop, giant games, scavenger hunt

Monday - Swimming, canoeing, day hike, archery, quiz and bouncy castle

Tuesday - Baseball, badgework classes, Nuclear Wide Game and casino Royale

Wednesday - Day out to Ayr - farm park, beach and campfire

Thursday - Swimming and badgework classes, visit from Indonesian Scouts, highland games

Friday - Pirate Theme Day - backwoods lunch, skills on swordsmanship, talking like a pirate

Saturday - STAs, Merry Fun Time, flag down and presentation
