We are always on the lookout for enthusiastic, hard working and dedicated people to join our team of voluntary helpers and leaders. If you have a good sense of fun and want to put something back into your community then read on...

What do you do?

The Glasgow Disabled Scouts aim to provide a normal Scout programme to young people aged 8 to 25 who have a physical disability. We do this with the help of a team of people who provide the 'physical push' and enthusiasm to allow the young people to get the most from the varied range of activities on offer.

Helping

Do I get any training?

Yes, we provide full induction and ongoing training throughout your time with us.

What's in it for me?

Firstly, its great fun. Its amazing how much people enjoy being part of our team. Then there is the sense of achivement. You will develop new skills without knowing it, such as leadership, team working and communication, all of which are vital in employment.

Your service with us can also count towards the service requirements for the Duke of Edinburgh Award programme and for Scout or BB badges or awards.
