On Sunday 23rd April one of our brilliant summer camp volunteers, Mark, will join thousands of runners to brave the 26.2 miles of the London Marathon and raise some money for Glasgow Disabled Scouts.

Mark has been training for months and says:

“I have never been much of a runner, and despite this challenge I’m not sure I ever will be. But saying that, when the opportunity arose to run the London Marathon and raise funds for Glasgow Disabled Scouts I couldn’t say no. I’m not sure it’s going to be a completely fun experience, but I am looking forward to it!”

We’ll be cheering Mark on from Glasgow and watching out for his supporters in London.

There is still plenty of time to donate – and Mark says if you donate £10 or more, you can add a song to his marathon playlist!
