Our fundraising appeal to redevelop Glengoyne Lodge – our outdoor centre for children and young people with disabilities – has now passed the halfway point, with a total of £132,201 raised towards the £250,000 target.
Six months after launching the appeal at the Glasgow Science Centre we are excited to be well on our way towards achieving our goal and moving forward with delivering this important project.
The total raised comes from a range of activities – individuals organising fundraising events, small donations online, numerous sponsored events and grants and donations from companies and charitable trusts.
There is still a long way to go and we would ask anyone who is able to support the appeal in any way to take a look at the appeal website and get in touch with us if you want to discuss any ideas. You can also make a donation directly to the appeal here.
We are particularly grateful to the following key supporters who have contributed significant sums to the appeal so far:
- Incorporation of Cordiners
- Commonweal Fund
- Endrick Trust
- Nationspaces Development Ltd
- The Hugh and Mary Miller Bequest
- Craigie Developments Ltd
- 384 Biopharma
- Employees of The Edrington Group
- Family and friends of Sean McDonald
- Mearns Castle High School
