Arnold Clark Supports Glengoyne Lodge Appeal

Arnold Clark has put its support behind the Glengoyne Lodge Appeal as we enter the final stages of fundraising to deliver an outdoor centre accessible to all young people.

We were delighted to receive a donation of £3,000 from Arnold Clark towards our fundraising appeal to redevelop Glengoyne Lodge – our specialist outdoor centre for young people with disabilities.

The donation will contribute to the final phase of the development which sees us fitting out the building so that it can open again for the weekend short breaks we provide for Scouts aged 6 to 25. We have already raised over £300,000 to get the project to this stage but we are continuing to fundraise for the kitchen, bathroom, specialist equipment, internal fixtures and fittings and landscaping.

Our lead volunteer Michael Shanks said:

“We are extremely grateful to Arnold Clark for the donation towards the Glengoyne Lodge project. This contribution will give us momentum in the final phase of the fundraising effort so we can make sure the building is fit for purpose, accessible for all and a brilliant home for all our future adventures”.

You can contribute to the Glengoyne Lodge Appeal in various ways such as sponsoring a brick or making a donation. Please get in touch with us directly if you would like to make a significant donation or have any suggestion for anyone we might approach.
