We’re excited to be launching a new section for girls and boys aged 6 to 8 which will take place in Bobath Scotland’s Cerebral Palsy Therapy Centre in Glasgow. Beavers meet weekly to try new activities, make friends and have lots of fun.
Launching in the autumn of 2018 we’re looking for boys and girls with disabilities to join now!
What is Beavers at Bobath all about? Glasgow Disabled Scouts has been supporting children with disabilities to have adventures for over 80 years. This new section will provide support for boys and girls aged 6 to 8 who have additional support needs so they too can take part.
Support will be provided by Scout volunteers who are fully trained and members of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme. Bobath therapists will not be involved in running these sessions.
When/where will Beavers happen? Beavers will meet at the Bobath Centre, 10 High Craighall Road, Glasgow, G4 9UD on Monday evenings from 6pm to 7pm. There is plenty of parking available.
Who can join? This new section is for girls and boys aged 6 to 8 who have a disability or additional support needs.
Complete the form below in full to join our new Beaver Colony. One of our volunteers will get back in touch with you soon.
