Our 2018 Summer Camp was a two-week expedition to Belgium for 35 disabled Scouts and 60 volunteers.
Following from our successful trip to the Netherlands in 2013, planning began for another expedition, with Belgium chosen as the location. We set a fundraising target of £60,000 and began organising a full programme of activities and all the logistics to get us there and back.
During camp the young people write a daily log of what they have been doing. You can read their reflections which have been brought together into a camp log book below:
A short film, with some of the highlights from the log book and photos from the camp itself has been produced which can be viewed below:
Our thanks to all those volunteers who made camp happen and to those who provided financial, logistical and other support throughout the expedition.
