Week 6 - THE FINAL!

Week 6 Task: The FINAL – bonus points bonanza!

It’s here – the final approaches. One more week to gain as many points as you possibly can.


Here are your final week challenges:

  • Submit some kind of evidence for each task completed to taskmaster@glasgowdisabledscouts.org or upload to Facebook or Twitter and link to us
  • Your evidence needs to be with us by 8.30pm on Thursday so the Taskmaster can start judging.

Week 5 Task

Week 5 Task: Invent your own musical instrument!

Remember – it’s not too late to join in – the Taskmaster is very generous with points for people joining for the first time, so have a go!

Here are the rules:

  • You have to create a brand new musical instrument out of anything you have lying around your house
  • You need to be able to demonstrate it can make some sort of noise, so videos encouraged this week please!
  • You get bonus points for particularly creative designs or for instruments that can play an actual tune the Taskmaster can recognise
  • You only have one hour to complete this task – ONE HOUR!
  • Submit some kind of evidence – a short video would be best this week to taskmaster@glasgowdisabledscouts.org or upload to Facebook or Twitter and link to us
  • Your evidence needs to be with us by 8.30pm on Thursday so the Taskmaster can start judging.

Week 4 Task

Week 4 Task: Build a Shelter!

Remember – it’s not too late to join in – the Taskmaster is very generous with points for people joining for the first time, so have a go!


Here are the rules:

  • Obey social distancing rules at all times – so don’t go against those rules to construct your shelter!
  • Build your shelter out of anything – it doesn’t need to be outside, and it doesn’t need to look like a tent
  • You get bonus points as always for creativity or crazy designs, and even more bonus points if you can sleep in your shelter (or at least have a wee nap!)
  • You only have one hour to complete this task – ONE HOUR!
  • Submit some kind of evidence – a short video or a photo to taskmaster@glasgowdisabledscouts.org or upload to Facebook or Twitter and link to us
  • Your evidence needs to be with us by 8.30pm on Thursday so the Taskmaster can start judging.

Week 3 Task

Week 3 Task: Good Deeds!

Remember – it’s not too late to join in – the Taskmaster is very generous with points for people joining for the first time, so have a go!

Here are the rules:

  • Obey social distancing rules at all times – so don’t do good deeds that involve you breaking these rules!
  • Only do good deeds that are actually going to help round the house – so don’t start painting your bedroom without asking!
  • Carry out as many good deeds as you can, and record some evidence of you doing them
  • The person who has helped round the house the most, will get the most points!
  • Extra points for particularly hard tasks / unusual good deeds / heartwarming stories!
  • Submit some kind of evidence – a short video or a photo to taskmaster@glasgowdisabledscouts.org or upload to Facebook or Twitter and link to us
  • Your evidence needs to be with us by 8.30pm on Thursday so the Taskmaster can start judging.

Week 2 Task

Week 2 Task: your own holiday destination


Here are the rules:

  • Obey social distancing rules at all times – so only use objects you have in your house
  • Don’t move everything around your house unless your parents say it’s okay
  • Build something to represent your favourite holiday destination – could be a landmark or a scene from your holiday – be creative!
  • The Taskmaster should be able to guess where your holiday destination is
  • Make it as creative as you can – the Taskmaster enjoys creative submissions
  • Submit some kind of evidence – a short video or a photo to taskmaster@glasgowdisabledscouts.org or upload to Facebook or Twitter and link to us
  • You should spend no longer than an hour on this task and your entry must be with us by 8.30pm on Thursday so the Taskmaster can start judging.

Week 1 Task

Week 1 Task: build the tallest tower

Here are the rules:

  • Obey social distancing rules at all times – so only use objects you have in your house
  • Don’t move everything around your house unless your parents say it’s okay
  • Build the tallest freestanding tower – you can’t prop it up against a wall
  • Hang something Scouty at the top of it – your Scout neckie or shirt would do
  • Make it as creative as you can – the Taskmaster enjoys creative engineering
  • Submit some kind of evidence – a short video or a photo to taskmaster@glasgowdisabledscouts.org or upload to Facebook or Twitter and link to us
  • You should spend no longer than an hour on this task and your entry must be with us by 8.30pm on Thursday so the Taskmaster can start judging.
